Just noodling around with the design for the ship.
A small research ship. Vastly outgunned in the Star Trek universe,but we're supposed to be at peace, right...?
One thing that always rather bugged me was that every federation ship in the Star Trek universe almost invariably looks like a warped version of the Enterprise. Matt Jeffries was much more creative than that, so I thought it rather sad that they Retconned the design of the Space Cruiser "Aurora" out of existence when they remade the digital version of TOS.
So, this is playing around with the Aurora's design, but throwing on some older engine nacelles from the "Bonaventure" out of the TAS episode "Time Trap."
It's a work in progress, but I rather favor the 4th one down.The interesting thing there would be that the ship's decks would be on a 90 degree angle from the direction of travel. Saves a little on having to use less artificial gravity and inertial compensators, if you can just use your ship's acceleration instead.

Work, work? boy you have blueprints that means someone somewhere is building these. If I were you I would look around Luna or Risa two good "in plain sight" ship facilities. Not to mention Bastard shipyards just put forth two viable mobile ship facilities!
